Up to 70 percent of women will experience some form of mental or gender-based violence during their lifetime, with gender violence being the highest cause of death for women between the ages of 16 and 44, said Juju Chang, an ABC News reporter who spoke at a UN event commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Nov. 25.
